PORPA Celebrates 10 Wonderful Years of Rowing and Paddling in North Idaho!

PORPA celebrated 10 years since putting our first boat on the water at Riley Creek on the Pend Oreille River today 13 July! 12 rowers, 3 boats, 1 paddler, watermelon, unveiling of new Salish language names for our HW double and quad, new and original rowers, great coxing in and out of the "boat basin", and two sweep virgins no longer! Amazing camaraderie, curious looks from the campground hosts and campers, setting up a second rack, and sharing a lovely picnic lunch in the copious shade. Thanks for ten wonderful years!
