Oh, what a day

Pend Oreille Rowing and Paddling Association

Oh what a day today was.

We did get four singles and a double on the water, after waiting for almost two weeks for the smoke to clear.

And clear it did. And a more than an average day we had, launching the Priest River Armada.

All shells went up and down the Priest River for a "Private River" row.

Once past the railroad bridge the OWD had to go back to the beach to fix the self bailing flap and then we went out to the Pend Oreille river.

It was just magical to enjoy the smooth and flat waters on the PO where we went out for 2k and rowed back to the mudhole to complete the 8k.

We should be able to have more of this for a few more weeks.  Just register at www.porpa.org

Great Puddles!
